I've heard good things about the Mistmantle books, but I've yet to hunt them down and read. Speaking of Redwall, I've read five of them so far I read the first four, and then (rather uncharacteristicly of me) skipped to Outcast because it seemed interesting, with a more complicated character situation and possibly morally dynamic characters. anyways, sometimes I tell people 'it's kind of like Redwall,' but then again its so very different and more than Redwall, if you know what I mean.
